Elizabeth "Lzzy" Hale (born October 10, 1984) is the lead singer, second guitar and front-woman of Grammy Award-winning American hard rock band Halestorm. She has been with the band since its inception in 1998.
Elizabeth "Lzzy" Hale has been actively writing and performing original music since 1997 when she was 13 years old. Both Lzzy and her younger brother, Arejay, started learning piano at the age of 5; Lzzy later progressed to a keytar and Arejay to the drums. Lzzy began learning to play the guitar at 16. The teen siblings released an EP titled Don't Mess With the Time Man in 1999, marking Lzzy's first appearance as a recording artist/lead vocalist. Lzzy has since enjoyed good success as not only Halestorm's lead singer, but also with guest appearances with artists such as Shinedown, Black Stone Cherry, Seether and Adrenaline Mob. On July 21, 2010 she appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon with Halestorm, performing "Familiar Taste of Poison". In 2012, on the Carnival of Madness tour, she performed the Halestorm song "Break in" with Evanescence lead singer Amy Lee. Also, on the Alter Bridge Fortress tour, she performed Watch Over You with Myles Kennedy on select dates.
Lzzy Hale lent her vocals to a reworked version of the Shinedown song "Shed Some Light" from the 2005 album Us and Them. Lzzy and Shinedown's Brent Smith performed the song live on one occasion. Lzzy also appeared in the Shinedown song "Breaking Inside." On September 5, 2007, Halestorm appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno as part of the "Jaywalking" segment. On July 21, 2010 they appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, performing "Familiar Taste of Poison".
Lzzy was featured on the track "Close My Eyes Forever" with singer David Draiman on the self-titled album "Device" by Device released on April 9, 2013.

Halestorm was the last band to share the stage with Ronnie James Dio for his final performance on August 29th 2009, as they opened for Heaven And Hell at Atlantic City's House Of Blues.
