Gary Hoey (born August 23, 1960) is a surfer-rock musician. At fourteen, Hoey often lingered outside Boston's renowned Berklee College of Music, making friends and offering to pay for lessons. To devote his time to music, he dropped out of high school and began playing Boston's local clubs and teaching guitar to other young players. He auditioned for Ozzy Osbourne in 1988, when Osbourne was searching for a replacement for Jake E. Lee, but the job went to Zakk Wylde.

In 1993, he recorded the successful Animal Instinct album, which included a cover of the Focus hit "Hocus Pocus". Not only did the hit rocket into the Billboard Top 5, outpacing all other singles as the most frequently played rock song of the year, but the album went on to reach classic rock notoriety. The successful Endless Summer II soundtrack soon followed. He went on to record around twelve instrumental albums, all electric guitar oriented. His 1996 release, Bug Alley, displayed added vocal ability that he has expanded on more recent albums. He continues to tour extensively.

Juan Croucier (born August 22, 1959, in Santiago de Las Vegas, Cuba) is a Cuban-American rock musician. Formerly a bassist for well known metal bands Dokken and Ratt during the 1980s, Croucier was also very briefly in Quiet Riot and DuBrow. Reportedly, Croucier played with Quiet Riot shortly before Randy Rhoads left to play with Ozzy Osbourne and played with DuBrow in 1981 but did not record with either.

Croucier played with Dokken for about four years and toured Germany with the band several times. He was a member of both Ratt and Dokken simultaneously for approximately 18 months before leaving Dokken. He sang backup on Dokken's Breaking the Chains album, and co-wrote two songs. His replacement, Jeff Pilson, appears in the videos from the album.
With Ratt, Croucier wrote many of the band's biggest hits such as "Lack of Communication" and "You're in Love". His backing vocals also became a trademark part of Ratt's sound.

On May 12, 2012, Croucier reunited with Ratt and performed with the band at the M3 Rock Festival for the first time since 1991.

The current RATT line up consists of: Stephen Pearcy, Warren DeMartini, Bobby Blotzer, Juan Croucier, & Carlos Cavazo.
